Data sources

The main sports feeds use API-Sports for football, NFL, NBA and Formula 1. Baseball is optional. Background jobs import fixtures, competitors and results into our database; the main pages read those stored records. Coverage and seasons depend on our provider subscriptions.

Forecasts and track record

Team forecasts use Elo ratings. Football can use a Dixon-Coles goals model where a historical backtest improves on Elo. Forecasts are locked at kick-off, scored after the result, and summarized on the track record. A new deployment may not yet have enough scored forecasts for a useful evaluation.

AI previews, recaps and Pro deep dives are generated from stored facts when generation is configured. They may contain mistakes and are labelled as AI content. See AI and forecasts for limitations. This is sports analysis, not betting advice.

Experimental coverage

The unindexed Beta area uses OpenDota for sampled professional drafts and Sportmonks for Sri Lanka cricket. These pages can fetch provider data while loading. Draft win rates include only picks with known results; small samples are noisy.

Freshness and corrections

Scheduled jobs, caching, provider delays and outages affect freshness. Missing values are unavailable, not zero. Verify disputed records against the original provider. Report the page, match and displayed date when requesting a correction.
