Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use StatLocus (the "Service"), operated by Ruwindhu Hettige Don. By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service is

StatLocus is an independent fan site. You can follow sports teams and drivers and read fixtures, results, statistics, AI-written previews and recaps, and statistical forecasts. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, team, driver or governing body. Team names and logos are used only to identify teams and belong to their owners.

Your account

You need an email address or Google account to sign in. Keep access to that email or account secure, because anyone who controls it can sign in as you. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't scrape or bulk-download content, try to get around rate limits or security controls, interfere with other users, or use the Service for anything unlawful.

Forecasts and AI content are for entertainment

Win probabilities come from a statistical model, and previews and recaps are generated by AI from match data. Both can be wrong. They are provided for information and entertainment only. They are not betting, financial or any other professional advice, and nothing on the Service encourages gambling. See AI and forecasts for how they work.

Data accuracy and availability

Fixtures, scores and statistics come from third-party data providers and may be delayed or incorrect. We provide the Service "as is" and may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Pro subscription

StatLocus Pro is an optional paid plan, billed monthly or yearly in advance. The price, and any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Renewal: Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from your Account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails we (through Stripe) will retry it for a few days, and Pro stays on meanwhile. If it still can't be collected, your account moves back to the free plan. Your follows are kept, but the free plan shows only the first three in your feed.
• Price changes: we'll tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
• Refunds and cooling-off: if you're a consumer in the UK or EU you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. By starting Pro straight away you ask us to begin the service immediately, and a refund for that period may be reduced to reflect the time you've already used. Otherwise payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires or we choose to.
• Deleting your account cancels Pro immediately, with no further charges.

We may change what's included in Pro. If a change takes away something significant you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Beat the AI (pick'em)

Beat the AI is a free game: you pick winners before kick-off and are ranked against other fans and our model. There is no entry fee, no stake and no prize of any kind, and it is not gambling. Picks lock at kick-off. Leaderboards show your display name (or an automatic "Fan #" name) and your record, never your email address. We may remove display names that are offensive or impersonate someone, and we may exclude accounts that abuse the game.

Referrals

If someone signs up with your referral link and follows three teams, you each get one month of Pro. If you already pay for Pro, your month is a credit on your next bill instead. A referral counts only for a new account, each referral is rewarded once, and each member can earn at most 12 referral rewards a year. The free month doesn't renew and becomes the free plan at the end unless you subscribe. We may withhold rewards gained through fake or duplicate accounts.

Affiliate links

Some links to shops, ticket sellers and streaming services are affiliate links, marked "Partner links". If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change what we show or how our forecasts work. Purchases are between you and that seller, under their terms. We never link to betting or gambling services.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on forecasts, AI content or third-party data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and you keep any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll tell signed-in users before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
